The sytem operators have advised that the Clever Buoy shark detection trial at City Beach is now fully operational again.

A shark WARNING has been issued for Port Kennedy to Waikiki Beach, Warnbro in the City of Rockingham after an increased number of reported shark detections.

This morning’s partial outage in the shark notification system, affecting the automatic notification of tagged shark detections, has now been rectified and the network is fully restored.

Fisheries advise that the 2.km off Mullaloo Shark Monitoring Network satellite-linked receiver is back online. The network is now fully operational.
