Shark ADVICE for the WA Shark Monitoring Network – Busselton Receiver

The Busselton Shark Monitoring Network receiver located adjacent to the Busselton Jetty has been replaced with three new-generation receivers. 

The new receivers have been installed on the Busselton Jetty and provide coverage of the water adjacent to the entire jetty, delivering improved safety outcomes.

Shark WARNING for Florida Beach near Mandurah

Rangers from the City of Mandurah have reopened beaches in the Florida Beach area, following a reported shark interaction on Sunday 6 March.

Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD) recommend additional caution in the Florida Beach area.

Shark ADVICE for Albany Waterfront Marina in City of Albany

DPIRD (Fisheries) have been advised that the dolphin carcass at Albany Waterfront Marina has now been removed.

Additional caution is recommended by the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development, as any residue from the carcass may still attract sharks to the area.
