Officers from the Shire of Harvey have now removed the whale carcass from Binningup Beach.
Additional caution is recommended by the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development, as any residue from where the whale carcass was beached may attract sharks to the area.

Officers from the Town of Cambridge have reopened beaches in the City Beach area following the removal of the whale carcass and completion of water quality testing.
Additional caution is recommended by the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development, as any residue from where the whale carcass was beached may attract sharks to the area.
