Shark ADVICE for Port Kennedy Foreshore in the City of Rockingham

Parks and Wildlife Service officers from the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions have completed the incident response regarding the whale stranding at Port Kennedy Foreshore east of Bridport Point. This includes the removal of the whale carcass from the beach.
Beaches remain closed near Port Kennedy Foreshore east of Bridport Point.
Additional caution is recommended by the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development, as any residue from where the whale carcass was beached may attract sharks to the area.
