Technicians have replaced the siren on the land-based Shark Warning System (tower) at Mullaloo South in the City of Joondalup.

Officers from the City of Albany have inspected the area where the whale carcass was located at Naranup Beach and have advised that it is no longer in place.
Shark warning signs have been removed by the City of Albany.
Additional caution is recommended by the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development, as residue from where the whale carcass was beached may still attract sharks to the area.

A shark ADVICE has been issued due to a whale carcass being reported at Oakajee River Beach north of Geraldton in the Shire of Chapman Valley.
