Update on 8 July at 5:00 pm

Parks and Wildlife Service officers from the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions have successfully removed the whale carcass from Jurien Bay Boat Harbour. 

Additional caution is recommended by the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development, as any residue from where the whale carcass was beached may still attract sharks to the area.

Parks and Wildlife Service officers from the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions have successfully removed the sea lion carcass from Burns Beach.

Additional caution is recommended by the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development, as any residue from where the carcass was beached may still attract sharks to the area.
