A shark WARNING has been issued for Yardie Creek in the Shire of Exmouth after a reported shark interaction.

Parks and Wildlife Service officers from the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions have successfully removed the dolphin carcasses from the Princess Royal Harbour.
Additional caution is recommended by the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development, as any residue from where the carcass was beached may attract sharks to the area.

The Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD) have been advised that the whale carcass in Sulphur Bay has been successfully removed.
Additional caution is recommended by DPIRD, as any residue from where the whale carcass was beached may attract sharks to the area.

Parks and Wildlife Service officers from Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions have assessed the whale carcass at North Mandu Camp and have removed the Regulation 44 closure notice for the area between Oyster Stacks and North Mandu effective on 24 July 2026.
Additional caution is recommended by the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development, as any residue from where the whale carcass was located may attract sharks to the area.
