DPIRD recommends additional caution in the Swan River, near Fremantle following the additional report of schooling sharks near the Fremantle Bridge.

Beach users should adhere to beach closures advised by Local Government Rangers.

It is possible that the frequency and duration of the recent reported sightings may increase the likelihood of encountering a shark in this area.
