Correction to activity map - location of fatal shark bite incident

The location of the Albany shark bite incident on 29/12 has mapped on the SharkSmart website to the incorrect location.

The pin is showing at Cheynes Beach, near Frenchman’s Bay which is the incorrect location. The correct location is Cheynes Beach, near Bald Island which is 60km east of Albany.

Steps are being taken to correct the error and map the incident at the correct location.
